| Tourmaline exists in the form of striated
columns in colours including pink, green, black, and blue, as well as two or
three-coloured forms and colourless. The deep-pink form is known as Rubellite, and a black form is known as Schorl Tourmaline can be used to seek inspiration, and to reduce fear by increasing understanding and self-confidence. Used anciently as a 'teller' stone to point to what or who was causing problems, it is also able to point to that which is 'good'. In the Native American, Aboriginal, and African tribal traditions, Tourmaline is meant to provide protection from all physical dangers. Tourmaline assist in all creative and healing endeavours in a balanced and co-operative way. It assists in removing the feeling of being a 'victim'. Each colour of Tourmaline exhibits particular characteristics, particularly for healing. |
