| Staurolite appears in red/brown and
yellow/brown shades. Staurolite, also know as the 'Fairy Stone' or 'Fairy Cross', is a good-luck talisman. The 'Fairy Cross' of Stauolite is meant to have been formed from the crystallised tears of fairies bearing news of the death of Christ. Staurolite is a useful grounding and protecting stone, is helpful in combating stress and depression, and in addressing obsessive personality characteristics. Addictions, particularly tobacco addiction may be assisted with Staurolite. In healing, Staurolite may be used in the treatment of fevers, malaria, and depression. |
