Opal amplifies an individuals characteristics, stimulates the imagination, and provides inspiration to its user.  It can be used to instill loyalty and faithfulness in personal and business relationships.

The 'stone of happy dreams and changes' brings understanding of potential, and brings aspirations to the surface.

Opal was used by Native American Indians in the 'vision quest' ceremony, and by Australian Aboriginees during ceremonial 'Dreamtime.

In healing, Opal can be used to reduce infections, and to aid blood, kidney and liver problems.  It has been used to assist with vision disorders, and to reduce fevers.
