| Moonstone is a type of feldspar displaying
a milky sheen, with refracted colours. The 'travellers stone' is used for protection on journeys, and is a talisman of good fortune, addressing hopes and wishes to address 'needs' rather than 'wants'. Moonstone supports the intuitive (female) side of the user's nature, rather than the logical, reasoned (male) side, but allows the flashes of inspiration to be practically implemented. Moonstone is characterised by 'calm awareness'. Emotional tension can be eased, and artistic creativity enhanced with Moonstone, which also supports and sustains. In healing, Moonstone can ease stings, bites or burns, pre-menstrual problems, and circulatory disorders, as well as enhancing fertility. |
