Jasper is a sacred stone in the Native American Indian culture, used for protection in travel, to induce health, or to connect to the spirit world. Protection is the special characteristic of this stone, protecting against negativity. Grounding and alignment of the chakras is also featured, such that astral travel may be experienced, with Jasper being placed on Heart and Naval chakras before travel. Aura stabilisation and cleansing are also featured. This stone has been worn by shamen as protection. In healing, Jasper may be used in the treatment of disorders of liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder, and stomach. | Red Jasper is useful in rectifying
injustices, providing rescue from danger, and in supporting an awareness that all choices
are ones personal responsibility. Red Jasper is also useful in re-iterating dreams so that they may be remembered, for 'replaying' during meditation. In healing, Red Jasper helps to prevent relapses. |
