| The most frequently encountered colour for
Aventurine is green, although blue is also often encountered. In all cases, bright
flecks of mica or hematite appear as a 'spangling' of the base colour. The qualities
of whichever mineral is the source of the flecks also applies. Green Aventurine provides a strong shielding quality for the Heart chakra, and prevents energy 'theft' from those attempting to 'tap-in' to this source. Decisiveness, creativity, motivation, and the pioneering spirit are enhanced by this stone, together with leadership qualities. A balancing of male/female energies is also apparent. The strong connection to the heart allows love to be used as a healing vehicle. Ailments of lungs, heart, and adrenal glands can be treated, together with muscular and urogenital disorders. |
