What are
'Bright New Thoughts'?
Bright New Thoughts are those thoughts that are new or have not been expressed in quite the same way before. They are thoughts that may or may not describe aspects of the world around us, of our relationship to it and each other, or of things that are not yet understood fully, if at all.
Sometimes thoughts appear seemingly from nowhere, and sometimes they leave us excited and breathless because of their revelation - rather like Archimedes in his bath when he realised the Law of Displacement as a way o determining the mass of an irregular complex object, or Sir Isaac Newton when he was able to formulate the Law of Gravity from seeing a falling apple.
Some thoughts relate to the chain of consequences: actions and reactions that have resulted in the world around us in the form that is familiar to us now, and some relate to alternatives that may have resulted from different actions and reactions - the uncharted territory known to many as 'if only'.
'Bright New Thoughts' provides an opportunity to express some of those revelations.
