Relationships
are defined in the Oxford English dictionary as 'the way in
which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being
connected by blood or marriage, the way in which two or more people or organizations
regard and behave towards each other, or an emotional and sexual association between two
people.'
The immense variability which exists in this definition results in much conflict and difficulty at one time or another for everyone who is involved in any form of relationship.
If relationships are the breeding-ground for conflict, what can be done to minimise such effects when they arise, and are there any guide-points which will help people avoid simply repeating the dramas which appear in their relationships? Bright New Relationships explores some of these issues and sets out some possibilities for ways of looking at (and managing) relationships.
